Animal Oil Refining Assembly Line

Category:

Animal Oil Rendering Equipment

Product description

The animal fat steam heating and melting machine uses steam as the heat source to achieve material melting, stirring, and insulation by heating the inner tank. It is suitable for animal fat melting operations and has the characteristics of uniform heating and stable temperature control. The core components include steam heating jacket, high-temperature resistant inner liner, mixing device, and temperature display system. This equipment is specifically designed for melting animal fats (such as lard, butter, sheep fat, etc.), using steam heating to achieve low-temperature melting and separation of fats through indirect heat exchange. It is suitable for fields such as fat processing.

Core Parameters
• Steam pressure: 0.6-0.8MPa (recommended 0.6MPa) (overpressure is strictly prohibited)
• Working temperature range: 105 ℃ -150 ℃ (adjustable to avoid oil coking)
• Power supply: AC 380V/50Hz (control circuit)

Operating Steps
1. Confirm in advance that the steam pipeline valves are closed and there are no residual debris in the inner tank;
Check whether the safety relief valve and pressure gauge are normal (pointer reset to zero, no damage);
Connect the power supply and test whether the mixing motor and temperature controller are powered on.
Check the appearance of the equipment: Confirm that the pot body, steam pipes, and valves are not damaged or leaking, and that the power cord is securely connected.
Cleaning the pot: Rinse the inside of the pot with clean water to remove dust or residual impurities, and drain the water.
Check the steam system: Open the steam main valve, drain the condensed water in the pipeline (open the drain valve), and confirm that the steam pressure is stable at 0.6-0.8MPa.
2. Heating and melting
Steam heating start: Add 1/3 of the total volume of bottom oil to the pot for preheating, slowly open the steam main valve, and control the steam pressure within the specified range of the equipment (usually 0.6-0.8MPa); Set the target temperature through a thermostat (adjusted according to the melting point of the material)
3. Feeding
Open the feeding port (or pot lid) and cut the pre treated block/crushed animal fat (recommended to be cut to below 5cm),
To avoid clumping, slowly pour the material into the pot, with a feeding amount not exceeding 80% of the total capacity of the pot (to prevent oil spillage during melting).
Melting and stirring: After the temperature reaches the melting point of the material, start the stirring device and keep stirring until the material is completely melted (the status can be viewed through the observation window).
Observe the temperature control instrument: Monitor the target temperature, wait for the oil temperature to rise to the set value, and maintain a constant temperature for 1-2 hours (adjust according to the size of the grease block until the block of grease is completely melted).
4. Separation and discharge
After melting is completed, first close the steam inlet valve and stop heating; Continue stirring for 5 minutes to preliminarily separate the oil and impurities. Open the discharge valve (wear heat-resistant gloves to prevent burns); After the material is emptied, turn off the mixing motor and main power supply, open the steam exhaust valve to release residual pressure, and clean the inner tank after the equipment cools down.
◦ Transfer the grease into a clean storage container (the container needs to be disinfected and dried in advance). Let it stand for 10-15 minutes: impurities (such as
Meat residue and water sediment.
5. Shutdown cleaning
Close all valves (steam valve, discharge valve, power switch), disconnect the steam main valve and power supply.
Wait for the pot to cool down to below 40 ℃, open the pot lid, use a scraper to clean the remaining impurities at the bottom of the pot, then rinse the pot with hot water (50-60 ℃), and if necessary, wipe it with neutral cleaner (corrosive cleaner is prohibited), and finally rinse it with clean water and let it dry.

Precautions
1. Safety operation taboos
Overpressure operation is strictly prohibited: The steam pressure shall not exceed the rated pressure of the equipment, and the pressure relief valve shall be calibrated monthly to ensure automatic pressure relief. When the steam pressure reaches 0.6MPa or the temperature reaches 195 degrees, the pressure gauge should be checked regularly (calibrated once every quarter). If the pressure is abnormal, the machine should be stopped immediately to release pressure.
Empty heating is strictly prohibited: Steam heating should not be turned on when there is no grease to prevent overheating of the pot and damage to the jacket.
Anti scald: When heating, the surface of the pot and steam pipeline is at high temperature. It is strictly prohibited to touch them directly with hands. Wear heat-resistant gloves and goggles during operation.
Forbidden operation: If problems such as steam leakage, temperature control failure, or mixing jamming are found, immediately stop the machine, close the main steam valve and power supply, and wait for the residual pressure to be released before troubleshooting before use.
2. Equipment maintenance
After daily use: Clean the impurities in the pot, wipe the inner pot with a soft cloth after cooling, remove residual materials, check the sealing of the valve, and unclog the drain valve (to prevent condensation from blocking).
Weekly maintenance: Check the sealing gasket of the steam pipeline interface, and replace it in a timely manner if it ages; Lubricate the stirring shaft bearings (add food grade lubricating oil). Tighten the sealing components of the mixing shaft, and replace the sealing ring if there is any leakage.
Monthly inspection: calibrate temperature control instruments and confirm that the temperature display has an error of ≤ ± 5 ℃ compared to the actual oil temperature; Check the insulation layer of the power cord to prevent damage and leakage.
3. Other reminders
During feeding, avoid contact between grease and electrical components of the equipment to prevent oil contamination from causing short circuits.
When melting different types of animal fats and oils, it is necessary to thoroughly clean the pot to avoid mixing flavors or ingredients that may affect the quality.
When not in use for a long time, wipe the pot dry and apply a thin layer of edible oil to prevent rust, close all valves, and cover with a dust cover. Maintain air circulation in the workshop to avoid damage to electrical appliances caused by excessive humidity.

Common Faults and Troubleshooting
Possible causes and troubleshooting methods for fault phenomena
Slow oil temperature rise:
1. If the steam pressure or temperature is insufficient, check the steam source and adjust it to the rated pressure;
2. The drain valve is blocked and the condensed water cannot be discharged: disassemble and clean the drain valve;
3. Regularly clean the jacket to remove scale.
Steam leakage:
1. Aging of pipeline interface sealing gasket: replace the sealing gasket;
2. Valve core wear: Repair or replace the valve.
Mixing motor not turning:
1. Power supply not connected properly: Check the power cord and reconnect it;
2. Motor overload: (such as stuck grease clumps) Stop the machine to clean the clumps in the pot, reduce the load, and restart.
Turbidity of discharged grease:
1. Melting temperature too low (incomplete melting): reheat to the recommended temperature and extend the constant temperature time;
2. The idle time is less than 1 two Increase the idle time to 15-20 minutes after shutdown.
